‘Collaboration,’ showing at Elements Art Gallery from the 8- 26th of February is an exhibition by Magda Joubert, Danny Khoo & Hena Alexanda Lane Dupreez, and Sandra Rudolph.

‘Collaboration’ explores the interpretations of four artists working with a common interest: the understanding and quantification of their relationship with their surroundings.

Ranging from the escapist and playful works of Sandra Rudolph’s newly published children’s book ‘The Adventures of Kaisu and Kalle’, to the ornamental microcosms of Magda Joubert's paintings through to the multi layered explorations by Khoo & Dupreez, ‘Collaboration’ presents the chaotic world with which we are faced from a multitude of angles. The effects of fear, chaos, disconnection and sterility of the urban environment are scrutinized and evaluated allowing the viewer ingress into the private and disparate worlds of each of these urban storytellers.
